The Grain A6 notebook features a combination of recycled Spanish leather and high quality Japanese writing paper made from MD paper products. The paper itself features plain pages as well as ruled pages.
The cover of the notepad is made of wear-resistant recycled leather to ensure that it is not easily damaged by regular use. The cowhide leather used here has a rich colour and is warm to the touch.
Lined paper (white) and plain writing paper (cream)
This original paper made by MD PAPER is designed to prevent ink from running or bleeding, as well as to be comfortable to write on.
The ruled line paper has the same format as Midori's long-selling Diamond Memo paper, which has been available for over 50 years.
Each page is divided into 4 with thick lines, making this paper perfect for daily schedules, to-do lists or personal hobby logs. The plain paper is ideal for illustrations or sketching ideas.
The last page of the notepad ensures that the band and fasteners do not interfere with your writing, for a comfortable writing experience. The included rubber band ensures that the notepad will not fall open in your bag.
The logo features a Spanish bullfighting design. The typeface is a recreation of an original Spanish design. This original typeface was used in the novel Don Quixote, published by the Royal Spanish Academy in 1780.
The recycled "Grain" leather used on the cover was produced in a Spanish tannery. The product is named after the leather itself. Spanish leather is known for its quality, excellent finish and amazing texture. The remnants of this excellent leather are pulverised and converted into sheets to create the recycled leather used in this product.
Grain leather has been produced since 1878. It is the end result of years of refinement and is created by highly skilled craftsmen. Only cowhide is used to produce the final product. Both the aroma and the texture of the cowhide are fully present.
