Details

Typewriter model Adler Nº7, manufactured in Frankfurt, Germany, in 1900.

This model copied the American Wellington and the Canadian Empire. The German company Adler bought the patent to be able to manufacture these machines in Europe and it was more successful in sales than any of its predecessors, possibly due to the beautiful design of the gold-coloured logo on the front of the machine. The manufacturer, Adler, was originally a bicycle manufacturer and that is why its logo depicts an eagle on a wheel.

The machine comes with its original wooden box on which the name of the brand is printed in golden letters. It consists of two parts, the wooden base and the lid that fits into the base.

Box dimensions: 220mm high, 428mm wide and 455mm deep.
