Old Kodak bellows camera manufactured in the USA in the 1930s.
Kodak Junior Six-16 cameras were manufactured in Germany, the UK and North America. Their name refers to the number 616, corresponding to the rolls of film used in the camera, also manufactured by Kodak. The American models were produced between 1935 and 1937 and had all the advantages of their European sisters. At the time, the camera was marketed at a price of $16. On the inside of the hinged lid is a plaque indicating the name, manufacturer and origin of the model: EASTMAN KODAK CO. ROCHESTER. N.Y. As usual in this model, the camera carries a Kodak Anastigmat lens and a Kodex Nº1 shutter. On the outer key, intended to collect the roll of film once finished, we can see the inscription USE KODAK FILM 615 engraved in relief on the metal. A colourful label on the inside of the case repeats this recommendation and reproduces an image of the roll of film and its packaging, as well as listing the product's US patents.
