Antique compass set

Details

This set of compasses comes in a solid wood box with brass fittings, containing a brass plate inlaid in the top with the initials C.F engraved on it. The box does not contain the key.

The case is lined with velvet. On the lid there is a folding lined plate, behind which there is another flat compartment.

This set of compasses was of very high quality for its time. Today it is a wonderful collector's item for any collector and also for those interested in architectural drawing or the history of industrial design.

By lifting up the little tool tray, a lower storage compartment can be accessed.
